 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist She was born to Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actress when she immigrated to the United States. From 2013 to 2016 she was the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. Her fame was boosted due to her appearances in TV commercials. She also was a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played the role of a regular character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. After being featured in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also is a Jew. Her parents, who were just two years old, emigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. She began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five due in part to her family's financial problems. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly however she was kicked out of the school in her second year. She later obtained the GED and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned the art of improv comedy.
